Photos & Letters

When the World Wide Web was still young I started putting photos with descriptions of things I had done on my home page. Eventually this sort of thing came to be known as a blog. At the beginning the additions were infrequent as they involved taking pictures with a 35 mm camera, using a scanner at work to scan prints and then hand-writing the HTML.

While living in San Francisco in 2001 I bought a digital camera and started sending letters about what I was doing to a list of family and friends, posting them to my home page as well. The updates were much easier and became more frequent.
Now that I've returned to Melbourne I've continued updating this every few months.
